Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as you embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to meet a tree-climbing lion!
The Trip Overview
The incredible Lake Manyara National Park is one of the smallest but most diverse parks in Tanzania. The shallow and alkaline Lake Manyara covers a large area of the park and is a truly awe-inspiring sight to behold! It is home to thousands of flamingos, which flock to the area each year to drink and bathe in the alkaline waters. The pink hues of the flamingos against the blue sky are a sight to remember! But that’s not all! You’ll also find more than 500 other bird species here, as well as some truly wonderful mammals. The forests are home to troops of monkeys, while the grassy plains are teeming with giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests. And in the acacia woodlands, you’ll find elephants and lions!
