An incredible six-day safari in Tanzania
After a delicious breakfast, it's time to hit the road! You'll be transferred from Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park, where you'll embark on an unforgettable full game drive. Don't forget to pack your lunch boxes!
Tarangire National Park is home to the biggest elephant herd in Tanzania and the whole world! And there's more! The park is also home to large numbers of buffalo, giraffe, zebra and many antelope species. This is most evident during the dry season, when you'll witness incredible concentrations of animals at the life-giving Tarangire River!
You'll stop at a picnic site where you'll enjoy your lunch with absolutely breathtaking views of the park's landscape and the river below you! You never know, you might even get to see some elephants drinking and digging water from the river's sandbanks! After a delicious lunch, you'll continue your game drive into the late afternoon, before driving to your selected accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, get ready for an amazing game drive inside the incredible Manyara National Park! Set beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, this park is a true gem, It's nestled in a breathtaking setting, hugging the steep western wall of the Rift Valley. This park is a treasure trove of East African mammals, including majestic elephants, buffalo, hippos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and a plethora of plains game. And that's not all! The park is also home to the largest baboon troops in Africa, adding to the park's incredible biodiversity. You'll even find some lions who have opted to rest up during the heat of midday in trees! The Crater has become a truly world-renowned attraction, drawing in more and more visitors each and every year! you're guaranteed to be blown away by the incredible wildlife and the truly awe-inspiring scenery! There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro! It is one of the best places in the country to see the endangered black rhinoceros.
The park is home to the entirety of the Big Five and is a particularly good place to see lions and Cape buffalo all year-round. You'll be served a packed lunch at a picnic site. Later, you'll drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay in Karatu.
