The Hike highlits
Once you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, the fun really begins! After you've completed the customs and immigration formalities, our representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, you'll meet your guide and get your equipment ready for the trek that awaits you the next day! The second most popular option among climbers, the Machame route is also known as the "Whiskey Route" for a reason! It offers a wide variety of views, landscapes, and experiences.
Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Our guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and take you to Machame Gate, where your unforgettable Kilimanjaro climb begins! As you make your way up through the breathtaking landscapes, you'll be treated to a stunning transition from lush rainforests to heather moorlands. After an invigorating five-to-six-hour hike, you'll reach the Machame Camp, situated on the edge of the forest area with a heath zone. It's your first day at this altitude! Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated and your energy levels up!
Get ready for another fantastic climb on day two of your mountain adventure! It's a little steeper, but the views are worth it. You'll be thrilled to pass by a small circular cliff known as the picnic rock, where you'll be rewarded with absolutely stunning views of Kibo (a peak of Kilimanjaro) and Shira (one of the other volcanic peaks). From the incredible picnic rock, you'll embark on an awe-inspiring journey to Shira Camp via a breathtaking route, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch and some well-deserved rest. If you fancy it, you can even take an acclimatisation walk towards the Lava Tower (to an altitude of 4,630 metres and a distance of 2 km).
From Shira Camp, you'll embark on an incredible trek to the stunning Lava Tower, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch. This part of the climb is full of exciting ascents and descents, and you'll be treated to some truly breathtaking views along the way! It's important to find your right pace, as this is a longer hike and you might feel a bit uncomfortable due to the increased altitude – but it'll all be worth it in the end! After a delicious lunch, it's time to descend to Barranco Camp at the foot of the magnificent Barranco Wall. Prepare to be amazed by this incredible sight, which boasts impressive sheer size and steepness.
After a delicious breakfast at Barranco Camp, it's time to head out on an incredible adventure to the Barranco Wall! This is the best part of the climb for many people! Once you reach the top of the Barranco Wall, you'll be treated to a truly spectacular view of the Kibo Volcano and Mount Meru!

After lunch at the camp, you can take an amazing acclimatisation hike in the direction of Barafu Camp, giving your body a chance to adjust to the altitude.
Today is the day! You're hiking to Barafu Camp, the starting point for your ascent to Uhuru Peak – the top of Kilimanjaro! You arrive at the camp around lunchtime! Once you've had a chance to rest, it's time for another adventure! Get ready to embark on an acclimatisation hike to Kosovo Summit Camp (4,870m) and back. Soak up the incredible views of the surrounding peaks and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as you experience the thrills of high-altitude camping. You'll be on the final stretch to the summit around midnight, so get ready to embrace the excitement!
The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! At midnight, the magic begins! You set off from Barafu Camp on the incredible journey to Uhuru Peak. The climb is an amazing adventure that takes you over good trails and the most challenging part is the high altitude, which makes it all the more rewarding! Once you reach the summit, you'll be treated to a truly breathtaking sunrise! It's quite impressive at this height! After a short time at the top, where you celebrate your ultimate victory, you descend slowly to the absolutely stunning Millennium Camp.
The incredible Millennium Camp is nestled in a tropical rainforest. When you wake up today, you feel a sense of relief from the reduced altitude and satisfaction from reaching the summit the day before. After breakfast, you take an easy walk to Mweka Gate, the exit of Kilimanjaro National Park, and collect your well-deserved certificate.
Your driver then brings you back to the hotel for a well-deserved rest. You've made it! You've reached the summit of the magnificent Kilimanjaro! Unforgettable memories, breathtaking views, and a true sense of accomplishment await and will stay forever with you!
